I’ve come down with something. An illness. I’m heavy footed, easily distracted, my brain feels like it’s stuffed to the brim with cotton wool and I’m walking around in a cloud of confusion. I don’t know where I caught it from or how to get rid of it.
This writers block, it is occurring to me, is a lot like the flu.
So I’m waiting for this bout of writers illness to pass and while I’m not creating anything even slightly note-worthy (apart from my grocery list but that’s not exactly a riveting read, or even a page turner. Literally) I thought why not share the intriguing and artistic magic created by those who obviously aren’t suffering.
Social media and the internet are contantly bombarding me with links, videos, articles ect ect and I spend so much time (more than I’m willing to admit) trawling through the internet ingesting such things.
This will be a weekly column where I will list a few of the worldly wonderful interviews, riveting reads, emotion-evoking videos and my general favs of the week.
